LimeLite
Warranties:
LimeLite makes the following warranties
in addition to any and all implied warranties
of merchantability and fitness for use of all
vehicles modified pursuant to the terms of this
Agreement and any modification or extension thereof:
Effective 6/1/08 LimeLite warrants the conversion to the first registered owner for a period of three (3) years or thirty-six thousand (36,000) miles, whichever occurs first, with an option of a three (3) years or one hundred thousand (100,000) miles, or five (5) years or one hundred thousand (100,000) miles on the vehicle and conversion (where you can take the vehicle to any vehicle repair shop of your choice), from the date of modification the conversion shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use and service. This limited warranty is subject to exclusions, limitations and conditions. LimeLite’s liability under this warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of defective parts and/or workmanship. LimeLite shall not be liable for any incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages (including but not limited to vehicle rental, lodging and/or towing charges) or for any service not expressly provided for herein, arising out of or relating to any defect in the modification. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein LimeLite shall, never-the-less, be liable for liquidated damages in the amounts set forth in paragraph 2.4 in the event it fails to perform the required warranty repair work within three (3) business days. All warranties cover the United States.
Standards:
LimeLite, at its option, shall repair or replace
items found to be defective within the warranty
period. Owner shall bear all expenses arising
out of or relating to transportation of the vehicle
to the appropriate warranty service location.
LimeLite hereby authorizes LimeLite as an authorized
warranty repair service location.
User
Obligation:
It is the obligation of the vehicle owner to provide
periodic vehicle maintenance and to operate the
vehicle in accordance with the vehicle’s
original manufacturer’s specifications.
LimeLite does not warranty any damage caused by
lack of proper maintenance, misuse, neglect, negligence,
or accident.
Exceptions
& Limitations:
This warranty DOES NOT COVER any damage caused
by normal use, wear and tear, or exposure to the
elements or improper cleaning methods. Also not
covered are any accessories or parts not manufactured
by LimeLite, which includes but are not limited
to: windows, generators, air conditioners, radios,
televisions, power converters, and batteries.
However these parts may carry warranties provided
by their manufacturers covering the performance
of their parts. Altered and modified parts will
not be covered.
Authorized
Repairs & Replacement:
ALL repairs MUST BE PRE-AUTHORIZED. Payment will
not be made for any unauthorized repairs or replacement.
Reimbursement for replacement parts not furnished
by LimeLite will not exceed the verifiable wholesale
cost to LimeLite.
Claims
Procedures:
All warranty service may be performed at LimeLite
or at any other authorized warranty service location.
LimeLite must authorize all warranty service in
writing prior to performance. Such written authorization
and where to deliver the vehicle for warranty
service will be given with two (2) working days
or receipt of notification of a defect or malfunction
and all other terms of this warranty have been
satisfied in full. Notice should be presented
in writing via: fax, email, or mail to LimeLite
Coach Sales, 2590 Lafayette Street, Santa Clara,
CA 95050 and must be postmarked on or before the
date of expiration of the appropriate warranty
period. Notice should include: Owner’s name,
address, a brief description of the problem, the
product model, serial, and VIN #’s, date
of completion or modification, vehicle mileage,
the current vehicle location and owners location
for contacting during regular business hours.
Termination
of Warranty:
The following actions and events will result in
the automatic termination of the warranty and
relive LimeLite from any and all obligations under
the warranty: Misuse or neglect of the product,
failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance,
unauthorized repairs, alterations or modifications,
accident, or improper cleaning or loading, sale
of the vehicle through auction, and/or the expiration
of the warranty period set out herein.
